Chelonia Cashmere Crewneck
Our flagship garment. Spun from Grade-A chelonia fiber and finished with a proprietary lanolin-wash process. Exceptionally warm. Ethically accounted for.
The Collection
Every garment in the Fur of the Turtle line is the direct result of responsible chelonia husbandry and closed-loop material recovery. Nothing is wasted. Everything is worn.
Our Materials
Chelonia Cashmere is the proprietary fiber recovered from the seasonal undercoat of our farm-raised turtle population. Harvested during the annual molt cycle, each fiber is catalogued, graded, and processed on-site under HAB compliance protocols. The result is a textile of unusual warmth, surprising softness, and unimpeachable provenance.

Performance
A technical baselayer engineered for cold-weather performance. Chelonia fiber's natural thermoregulatory properties make it uniquely suited to environments where warmth is non-negotiable.
Accessories
A wide-format shawl woven from blended chelonia and merino. The shell-pattern jacquard is not decorative — it is a topographic record of the source animal's dorsal geometry.
Accessories
Structured earflap construction with a chelonia-fiber lining. The outer shell is derived from reclaimed scute composite. Warm. Durable. Fully traceable.
Home
A heavyweight throw blanket woven in a traditional tweed pattern using chelonia fiber blended with locally sourced wool. Suitable for laps, shoulders, and livestock.
Outerwear
Durable field pants in a proprietary snapping-turtle camouflage pattern developed from dorsal pigmentation data. Water-resistant. HAB-approved for field operations.
Accessories
A full-finger work mitt with chelonia-fiber insulation and a textured grip surface modelled on the Galapagos tortoise's plantar pad. Rated to -30°C.
Accessories
A limited run of the Shell-Back Shawl featuring scute composite inlay panels sourced from animals that have completed their lifecycle. Each piece is numbered. None are restocked.
HAB Compliance
All Fur of the Turtle products are manufactured under Horizon Advanced Biologistics compliance protocols. Each garment carries a batch code traceable to the source animal, harvest date, and processing node. This is not marketing. This is the supply chain.
