THE SHOW

What We Build Here

Two Beards One Bench is a tight, 30-minute workshop podcast hosted by Eric and Dwight from the Snow Forge studio. No padding, no sponsor reads that go on forever — just raw, authentic bench talk and the kind of technical depth that assumes you already know what a torque spec is.

The format alternates weekly: one host takes the lead on a deep-dive technical project — radio tech, tactical gear, fabrication, engineering logic — while the other runs an unscripted status check on whatever is currently causing headaches on the workbench. Both segments are live, both are real.

The Hosts

Eric

Co-Host

Brings over 25 years of experience specializing in non-destructive testing, technical compliance, and systems application. Blends a data-driven approach with a deep background in emergency preparedness, radio communications, and practical bench-level problem-solving.

Dwight

Co-Host, PE

A professional engineer (PE), workshop collaborator, and technical partner. Co-anchors Two Beards One Bench from the Snow Forge studio, balancing professional engineering design with a passion for motorcycle mechanics, metalwork, and raw hands-on fabrication.

THE FORMAT

How It Works

Alternating Spotlights

Eric and Dwight trade off leading the deep-dive segment each week. One host drives, the other interrogates. The result is a conversation, not a lecture.

Workbench Status Checks

Unscripted. Whatever is actually on the bench that week — the stuck project, the failed test, the thing that almost worked — gets aired out.

30 Minutes, Hard Stop

Respect for the listener's time is built into the format. If it can't be said in 30 minutes, it gets a second episode — not a bloated runtime.

Snow Forge Studio

Recorded live from the Snow Forge studio. The acoustics are functional, the tools are real, and the background noise is authentic.

THE ETHOS

Built for Builders

Data-driven engineering logic. Self-reliance. Direct communication. Two Beards One Bench is a rugged, practical outlet for people who value operational autonomy over administrative noise. If you need someone to explain why you should care about your own projects, this is not your show.

DRAFT — DO NOT PUBLISH — HAB REVIEW PENDING

[DWIGHT — remove this before the page goes live. I left the IR link in from the notes doc and forgot to strip it. The HAB comms team will lose their minds if this gets indexed. — E]
